Wide Plank Flooring

Since early colonial times, Wide Plank Floors have been an efficient way to produce durable hardwood floors.

As a saw is passed through the log, each consecutive plank becomes a little wider until the center is reached. The boards are then edged to remove the bark and to straighten the edges. The end result is several different widths of wood planks.
